My name is Luke Scotchie, and I am a journalism student currently based in Boston, MA.

I was born in Orlando, FL, and I started my journalism career in 2021 as a writer for Orlando Magic HQ. I moved to Boston that year to attend Boston University, where I wrote for WTBU and The Daily Free Press. In 2023, I pursued a co-op with Boston.com in 2023, where I helped cover the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox.

Currently, I write profiles and features for Orlando Magic HQ, and I cover the Worcester Red Sox for Boston.com. 

I've written many stories and have interviewed several people over the last few years, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Boston Celtics forward Kristaps Porzingis, Boston Red Sox outfielder Wilyer Abreu and Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze.
